Transfers and Shipping

What do you need to know about transferring a firearm? On Target Firearms can help!

There are several things you will need to address before bringing your firearms to our shop for a transfer.

Find a store with an active FFL that you would like your firearms sent to.
Reach out to the receiving store and make sure that they will accept your firearm transfer (some states have very specific rules on which firearms they can transfer).
Make sure you have all the information for the receiving customer (if you are transferring the firearm to another person we will need that person's information).

Transfers

Handguns must be listed on the Massachusetts Approved Firearms Roster, as well as confirmed to the Attorney General’s Regulations 940 CMR.

Rifles and Shotguns must comply with Chapter 180 Laws of 1998. The ultimate decision will be made by On Target Firearms.

Pricing

Transfer Fee: $45 per firearm (+ any shipping fees)

DISCLAIMER: Firearms being transferred must be a mass- compliant handgun or legal long gun. If On Target Firearms receives a non-mass compliant firearm, the buyer will be responsible for any return shipping fees.

On Target Firearms does NOT accept ammunition transfers.

Please allow 24 hours for pickup as we have a large volume of incoming transfers.
