On Target Firearms offers certified instruction in firearms safety, marksmanship, and concealed carry certification. Our training programs are designed to be practical, thorough, and accessible, whether you’re a beginner or pursuing advanced skills.
The NRA Home Firearms Safety Class is required to apply for a Massachusetts License to Carry or FID Card. During this class students will learn the basic knowledge and skills to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms/ammunition.This course will explain personal protection scenarios, inside and outside the home, as well as Massachusetts firearms law. The end of this class includes LIVE fire in our state-of-the-art Indoor Range.
This class has the updated curriculum that satisfies the states new training requirements.

We are excited to announce we will start offering NSSF First Shots Classes. What is First Shots?
This is an introductory class for first time shooters that want to give it a try and see what shooting sports are all about for only $25 per person.
This class will average 2 hours in length and will include classroom time and time in the range to take your first shots. Limiting our classes to only 10 students allows for a more personalized and comfortable experience. Everything you need for this class will be provided, including:

Looking to improve your shooting skill? Just received your gun license and want to feel more comfortable with your new gun? Then private lessons are for you – one on one time with our firearm instructors makes for a more comfortable overall experience that will improve your shooting skills quicker than a standard training class. The $75 fee includes your range fee and one hour with one of our instructors.
If you would like to bring an additional person to the lesson there will be an additional $30 charge.
