Our Indoor Gun Range
Bring Your Own Or Rent!
Our state-of-the-art indoor 14-lane gun range is open to the public. We offer options that allow you to shoot your own firearms or rent one of our large selection of range guns. Members and guests have the option of bringing your own gun or renting one of ours. Memberships are available, see below.
Our range accommodates pistol calibers from .22 to .500 S&W. Additionally, you can shoot rifle calibers from .22 to .50 BMG. Some caliber restrictions could apply, so contact us for more information. Only brass cased ammo is allowed on the range. No steel or aluminum cased ammo(except for 7.62×39 and 7.62x54r). All participants must follow our range rules at all times.
- Persons without a valid Massachusetts LTC must have one other person over the age of 18 with them (minimum of 2 people both 18 or older) to rent a lane or a firearm.
- Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their legal parent/guardian.
- To rent a handgun you must be 21 years of age or older.Shooters aged 18-20 must be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older to shoot a handgun.
- EVERYONE WISHING TO SHOOT MUST HAVE SOME FORM OF UNITED STATES ,STATE OR FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION WITH THEM TO SHOOT. (Passports are acceptable)
FOREIGN NATIONALS: permitted & prohibited person for possessing firearms and ammunition.
A non-immigrant alien is someone who is in the United States on a temporary basis, usually on a work, student, or tourist visa. Under the provisions of 27 CFR 178.97, non-immigrant aliens are prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms and ammunition while in the United States unless they are a citizen or national of the Visa Waiver Program (below) or meet any ONE of the below listed exceptions in section 922(y)(2) of the GCA.
Possess a hunting license or permit lawfully issued by the Federal Government, a State, or local government, or an Indian tribe federally recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, which is valid and unexpired. The hunting license does not have to be from the State from Massachusetts. There are several on-line sites where a prospective hunter can get a license. Any state is fine as long as it is valid.
- Were admitted to the United States forlawful hunting or sporting purposes
- Is an official representative of a foreign government who is accredited to the United States Government or the Government’s mission to an international organization having its headquarters in the United States.
- Are an official of a foreign government or are designated as a distinguished foreign visitor by the Department of State, or
- Are a foreign law enforcement officerof a friendly foreign governmententering the United States on official law enforcement business.
- Has received a waiver issued by the Attorney General of the United States or Department of Justice and obtaining approval under section 922(y)(3).
Permanent resident aliens and aliens lawfully admitted to the U.S. without a visa (e.g. Visa Waiver Program) do not fall within the prohibition, and therefore do not need to meet one of the above exemptions to rent and shoot a firearm.

A penalty for violation of this federal law is imprisonment of 5-10 years per occurrence. We do not want to go to prison, nor do we want you to go to prison.
Gun Range Fees
We ask all shooters to check in at least 1 hour before close.

Public lane rental fee: $25 per person for the day/visit

Pistol rentals: $20 per caliber plus ammunition costs

Rifle rental: $30 per caliber plus ammunition costs

Shotgun rental: $30 per gauge plus ammunition costs

Full Auto Rifle Rental: $50 Per Caliber
(Although many places rent per firearm, we rent per caliber, this means you can rent every one of our 9mm pistols for only $20 and you won’t have to pay for another $20 rental unless you want to rent a different caliber. This is one of the best deals out there)

Eye and ear protection: $1 each (total of $2 if you need both).
Eye and ear protection is mandatory on the range at all times!
Memberships
On Target Firearms offers membership packages to our indoor gun range, located here in Dracut.
